In short
- Your money is held in escrow and only reaches the seller after you confirm, after the check window ends, or after any warranty ends.
- Not delivered on time? Cancel for a full refund. Something wrong? Open a dispute before the check window or warranty ends — the money stays frozen until it is settled.
- Buyer and seller first try to agree; either can escalate to MythicDeals at any time, and our decision on the platform is final.
- Top-ups and in-game currency delivered to the ID you entered cannot be reversed. Gift card codes cannot be refunded once redeemed — report a code that does not work before you confirm.
1. Scope
This policy explains when buyers can get their money back and how disputes between buyers and sellers are handled on MythicDeals. It is part of the Terms of Service. It does not limit any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
2. Before payment
You can cancel an unpaid order at any time from the order page. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after 60 minutes. No money is taken for a cancelled unpaid order.
3. Late or missing delivery
Each listing shows a delivery time. The deadline starts when your payment is confirmed (or, if the order was held for a security review, when the review is approved). If the seller has not delivered when the deadline passes, a Cancel & refund button appears on your order and you receive a full refund. You can also open a dispute instead if you prefer to keep waiting for delivery under our supervision.
4. After delivery: the check window
When the seller marks the order delivered, a check window starts:
| Category | Check window |
|---|---|
| Accounts | 3 days |
| Boosting | 1 day |
| Top-ups and currency | 12 hours |
| Items | 12 hours |
| Gift cards | 1 day |
During this window, check the delivery and either confirm receipt or open a dispute. If you do neither, the order completes automatically when the window ends. Once an order is complete (by your confirmation or automatically), it can only be challenged through an active warranty.
5. Warranties
Sellers choose a warranty for each listing: none, or 3, 7, 30 days. The warranty is shown on the listing and on your order. Every account order also gets a free base warranty of at least 3 days, and you can extend it at checkout with paid Account Protection.
- It starts when the order completes and lasts for the number of days shown.
- During the warranty, the seller's money stays held by MythicDeals.
- If the product stops working as described — for example an account is recovered by its original owner, or items disappear for reasons not caused by you — open a warranty claim from the order page. It follows the same dispute process below.
- If no claim is made, the money is released to the seller when the warranty ends.
- An order can have only one dispute. If an order was already disputed before completion, the decision in that dispute ends the warranty.
6. Opening a dispute
A dispute can be opened by the buyer or the seller from the order page while the order is paid, in progress or delivered (inside the check window), and by the buyer during an active warranty or Account Protection. The full time limits and the proof each side must show are in the Delivery & Dispute Rules. When you open one you choose:
- What went wrong: never delivered; not as described; stopped working / account recovered; only part was delivered; wrong item; or something else.
- What you are asking for: a full refund, a partial refund (an amount you specify), or delivery of what you paid for.
- Your explanation and evidence: screenshots, recordings or documents (JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF). Good evidence makes decisions faster: show what was promised and what you received, with times and in-game details.
As soon as a dispute is opened, the money is frozen: nothing is released to the seller or refunded until the dispute is settled.
7. How disputes are resolved
- The other party responds. They can make an offer: a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund (for example with proof that the delivery was correct).
- Accept or counter. If the person who opened the dispute accepts the offer, the dispute is settled immediately on those terms. If they reject it, the other side can make a new offer. Previous offers stay visible in the history.
- Escalate. Either party can escalate to MythicDeals at any time. After escalation the parties can no longer exchange offers but can still add messages and evidence.
- MythicDeals decides. Our team reviews the order chat, the delivery record, the listing and the evidence, and decides a refund of any amount from zero to the full amount paid. We aim to review escalated disputes within 72 hours, although complex cases can take longer. The decision is final on the Platform; it does not affect your legal rights.
The person who opened a dispute can also close it at any time if the problem is solved, which releases the order normally. Opening disputes in bad faith, threatening the other party or submitting false evidence breaches the Terms.
8. What happens to the money
- Full refund: the buyer gets back the total amount paid. The seller receives nothing and pays no fee on that order. If the order had not completed, the stock returns to the listing.
- Partial refund: the buyer receives the agreed or decided amount. The rest is released to the seller, with our platform fee calculated only on the part the seller keeps.
- No refund: the full payment is released to the seller as a normal completed order.
Refunds and cancelled orders are credited to your MythicDeals balance straight away. From there you can spend it on another order (at checkout, choose “MythicDeals balance”) or withdraw it to your bank, e-wallet or other payout method from your Wallet. Withdrawals are reviewed before they are sent, and the payout method’s fee and minimum apply. How long a withdrawal takes to reach you depends on the payout method and your bank or wallet provider.
9. When refunds are not available
- Top-ups and in-game currency that were delivered to the game user ID, server or username you entered — including if you entered it incorrectly. They cannot be taken back once credited.
- Gift card codes once they have been redeemed, including on an account in a different region than the one shown on the listing. Gift cards carry no warranty and cannot be partly refunded. If a code is invalid, already used or for the wrong region or face value, open a dispute during the check window without trying to redeem it again — the seller's money stays frozen and we check the code with the seller.
- Orders you have confirmed as received, or that completed automatically, unless a warranty is still running.
- Boosting work that has been completed as described.
- Change of mind after delivery, or problems caused by your own actions, such as breaking the game's rules after delivery or sharing the account with others.
- Bans or penalties imposed by a game publisher that are not attributable to the seller and occur after the check window and any warranty.
- Anything bought or paid for outside MythicDeals.
10. EU and UK consumers: right of withdrawal
If you buy from a seller acting as a trader, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases. For digital content and digital services supplied immediately, this right ends once delivery or performance has begun, provided you expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal. Where that did not happen, you can still withdraw within 14 days by contacting us. This right does not apply to purchases from private (non-trader) sellers, but the escrow, dispute and warranty protections in this policy always apply.
11. Chargebacks
Please open a dispute instead of asking your bank for a chargeback — disputes are faster and your money is already frozen. If a chargeback is filed on an order, we may suspend the account while it is investigated, and we may recover amounts from accounts involved in fraudulent chargebacks where the law allows.
12. Questions
For an order problem, use the dispute button on the order page — it is the only way to freeze the payment. For anything else, contact Help & support or [CONTACT EMAIL].
